Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Home Health team at Interim HealthCare Careers. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will provide personalized therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination, and education on self-care and home safety.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including RNs, LVNs, CNAs, HHAs, PTs, and SLPs, to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient goals.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active OT license in CA.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare.
  • Ability to pass a Background Check, Physical, Drug Screen, and TB Test.
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion.
