Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality patient care and adhere to facility documentation guidelines.
  • Accurately record treatments given and progress notes in the medical record.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized department.
  • Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
  • Participate in training programs for other staff members to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Record treatment charges according to facility policy and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to patient families or nursing staff on maintenance programs.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Ability to work effectively at all experience levels.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong desire to help patients and residents in their rehabilitation process.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills for documentation of care provided.
  • Knowledge and understanding of therapy practice.
  • High degree of credibility and integrity.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire to make a constructive impact on organizational excellence.
  • Ability to understand and accept the unpredictable nature and needs of the therapy function in a busy rehab department.
