Job Summary:

Lehigh Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join its team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. You will work under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, and will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and document care for patients.
  • Work under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director.

Qualifications:
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years experience as an RCP preferred.
  • ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • NRP certificate preferred.
  • PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
