Job Overview:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing retail operations through the effective execution of established sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance retail performance by implementing and executing established sales initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and delivery teams.
  • Address customer inquiries and needs promptly and efficiently.
  • Optimize retail execution within designated accounts by adhering to retail account standards.
  • Boost brand visibility through proactive shelf management, including product placement and organization.
  • Ensure the quality of all products, maintaining freshness and preventing damage.
  • Utilize ordering systems to manage inventory effectively, minimizing stock shortages and expired products.
  • Encourage the strategic placement of permanent point-of-sale materials within designated routes.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines in all aspects of the role.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence; effective communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and data interpretation.
  • Problem-solving abilities in varied situations with limited standardization.
  • Capability to follow diverse instructions in various formats.
  • Knowledge of laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in sales within the beverage industry is preferred.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state motor vehicle license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a State Sales Permit in compliance with state regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to use hands for various tasks, and may need to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Frequent reaching and occasional standing, walking, sitting, and climbing may be necessary. Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds is required.
