Position Overview
As a Construction Insurance Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial construction accounts. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the insurance industry and eager to support clients in safeguarding their investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and service a designated book of commercial construction accounts.
- Handle account management tasks such as preparing applications for new and renewal business, marketing strategies for renewals and new accounts, assisting with claims, and ensuring accuracy in endorsements.
- Evaluate all applications, renewal requests, and endorsements to ensure compliance with underwriting standards.
- Manage service requests including policy modifications, insurance certificates, and billing inquiries.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships among clients, producers, agency staff, and insurance company representatives.
- Deliver exceptional service in line with the agency's standards, even in challenging situations.
- Perform data entry and maintain records in the agency management system.
- Engage in professional development through seminars and training sessions.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Commercial Lines Manager.
Qualifications
- Possession of a 2-20 insurance license is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry or agency setting.
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial lines, specifically within the construction sector.
- Proficiency in office software, including MS Office.
- Industry designations and ongoing education are advantageous.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a self-motivated approach.
