Position Summary:

The Pilot Engineer plays a crucial role in executing pilot performance evaluations of advanced process technologies at various water and wastewater treatment facilities nationwide. This position involves substantial travel, estimated at 75-80%.

The primary objective of pilot testing is to replicate full-scale plant operations and showcase the effectiveness of our technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of all pilot equipment and trailers throughout the study, ensuring availability of spare parts.
  • Collaborate with the Pilot Group Manager, Process Group, and Regional Sales Manager to formulate a strategic plan for each pilot study.
  • Coordinate all activities related to assigned pilot studies in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct informative tours of pilot equipment, introducing processes to plant personnel.
  • Collect, analyze, and assess pilot performance data to ensure optimal results.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining methodologies, findings, and conclusions from studies.
  • Effectively manage and interpret all data collected, communicating results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships between clients and the company.
  • Submit timely expense reports related to travel and project activities.
Qualifications:

We seek candidates with:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Laboratory analysis experience is preferred but not mandatory.
