Job Summary

This is a technical and client-facing role that would suit someone who is currently working for a manufacturer of process or industrial equipment in a product design capacity or working for a certification body or test laboratory. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, pragmatic, and thorough, with a strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess products designed to national, regional, and international standards
  • Prepare technical reports, technical files, and certificates
  • Develop test plans and work with the test engineer to conduct tests correctly and safely
  • Conduct tests either in the Eurofins labs or at customer sites
  • Provide technical advice to clients
  • Work with the project engineer to conduct tests correctly and safely
  • Prepare test reports
  • Travel domestically or internationally as required
  • Prepare quotations in partnership with the sales team
Requirements
  • Experience in electrical testing to UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60079 series standards, UL 1203, UL 121201
  • Demonstrated product safety experience from an NRTL, test lab, or manufacturer
  • An engineering-associated educational background
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
