About the Role
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing antenna and radome systems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop antenna or radome hardware and requirements
- Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams, including thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems engineers
- Collaborate with antenna manufacturing suppliers
- Perform antenna modeling and simulation using workstations and high-performance computing resources (HPC)
- Interpret simulation or measurement test data to verify performance to requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
- Experience and/or coursework in programming and/or simulation experience in MATLAB, SIMULINK, C/C++, or equivalent language
- Experience and/or coursework with communication theory, RF and electromagnetic theory
- Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, and/or GRASP
- 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- ABET accreditation standard
- 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Solid background and practical understanding of designing GPS antenna systems
- Model generation and simulation experience with conformal antennas
- Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, and/or other high-level scientific programming languages
- Proficiency with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM
