Job Title: Registered Nurse - 2nd Shift
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients, including administering prescribed medications and starting intravenous fluids.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care plans.
- Monitor all aspects of client care, including diet and physical activity, and modify treatment plans as indicated by clients' responses and conditions.
- Provide education to clients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Georgia License and/or Nurse Licensure Compact Multi-State License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in Georgia.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Any related professional work experience.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience:
- Experience in a behavioral health setting.
