The estimated salary for this position is $200,000 - $300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to provide comprehensive medical services, including examining patients, diagnosing conditions, and providing treatments. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will direct nurses, aides, and other staff in the care and treatment of patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising staff, including physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Referring patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary
- Advising patients on healthcare, including health promotion, disease prevention, and illness management
- Coordinating work with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers
- Directing and coordinating activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff
- Examining patients, taking their histories, ordering laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures, and consulting with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribing or administering treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- In the EMR system, completing all orders and documenting all evaluations, notes treatment, and plans within prescribed time frames and according to established guidelines
- Consulting with referring M.D. as needed
- Providing emergency medical care
