As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors. This position operates under established protocols and the guidance of the shift supervisor, providing essential security services in alignment with our Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while delivering security services in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of both on-site and off-site locations to ensure safety.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents as assigned, documenting occurrences promptly.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and preparedness activities.
  • Maintain required certifications and complete training within specified timeframes.
  • Adapt communication and behavior to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
Qualifications:

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in security, law enforcement, or military service is required. Candidates with active law enforcement experience or those currently serving as armed police officers are encouraged to apply.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory. Completion of the Certified Police Officer Standard Training Policy Academy is also required, along with Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification or Military Police equivalent. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in computer skills necessary for data entry and information retrieval.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly to various audiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
This role requires the ability to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting and moving objects as necessary. While routine exposure to hazardous materials is minimal, there may be instances where exposure to communicable diseases could occur.
