About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fence Estimator and Sales Representative to join our team at Apex Fencing. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with clients, and providing accurate estimates for fencing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with Potential Clients: Assess their fencing needs and provide professional recommendations to ensure the best possible solutions for their projects.
  • Prepare and Deliver Accurate Estimates: Provide detailed project estimates, including materials, labor, and timeframes, to ensure clients have a clear understanding of the installation process.
  • Conduct Pre-Walkthroughs: Place flags to mark the fence area and ensure the client's understanding of the installation process, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Utilize GIS and Online Tools: Find property line approximate locations when plot maps are not available, ensuring accurate fence placement for permits and HOA paperwork.
  • Maintain High-Level Customer Service: Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales and installation process, addressing any concerns and providing solutions that meet their budget and aesthetic preferences.
  • Close Sales Effectively: Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and close sales, driving the growth of our company.
  • Collaborate with Installation Team: Ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction by working closely with the installation team.
  • Track and Manage Sales Leads: Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and product offerings.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fencing or construction industry.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of fencing materials, installation processes, and local regulations.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate estimates.
  • Proficiency in GIS and CRM: Proficiency in using GIS software and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Self-Motivated and Results-Driven: Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to exceed sales targets.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
