Job Opportunity: Interior Design Associate I

We are seeking an Interior Design Associate I to join our team at RS&H. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for performing basic interior design assignments, applying standard design principles, and collaborating with clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in predesign, schematic design, and design development tasks, including programming, concept development, and site surveys.
  • Perform basic construction documentation tasks related to interior design scope of projects.
  • Conduct research to support the development of proposed design solutions.
  • Prepare client presentations, including formatting design concepts using visual aids and advanced software.
  • Develop knowledge of state and local building codes, life safety codes, and other ordinances.
  • Maintain resource materials and schedule meetings with manufacturers' representatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of production software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with others.
  • US Citizenship or Nationality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design from a CIDA-accredited program.
  • Eligibility to take the NCIDQ exam.

RS&H offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $68,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and creative individual with a passion for interior design, we encourage you to apply.
