Job Description

Mission Statement: At Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists Inc, we strive to deliver patient-centered care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. As a Psychiatrist or Addictionologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with psychiatric-mental health conditions, developing integrated treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with psychiatric-mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement integrated treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring visits.
  • Timely documentation of visits and review of diagnostic test results.
  • Renew and refill medications as needed.
  • Provide emergency face-to-face or tele-medicine counseling and/or crisis intervention as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Residency program in Psychiatry.
  • Current and valid license to practice in the State of California and hold an NPI.
  • Full prescriptive authority and maintain current D.E.A. licensure.
  • Certification from the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS) preferred but not required.
  • At least two (2) years' experience as a Psychiatrist or Addictionologist.
