Your Role on the Team
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our neuropsychiatry unit, where you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care. As a member of our team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
What It Takes to be Successful
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects. Previous experience working in a mental health clinical setting is highly desirable, and knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms would be an added advantage.
Total Compensation
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary, estimated at $45,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, sick and vacation time, retirement savings plans, and access to various discounts and perks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possess Preventative Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) certification within 30 days of hire
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Psychiatric Technician or equivalent
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
