Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner SOR3

BAART Programs is a leading provider of substance abuse treatment services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Visalia, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to provide medical services to our patients in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting. As a member of our medical team, you will be responsible for admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment, conducting history and physical exams, documenting patient information in our electronic medical record system, and authorizing and supervising the dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications.

Responsibilities:

  • Admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment
  • Conduct history and physical exams
  • Document patient information in our electronic medical record system
  • Authorize and supervise the dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications
  • Monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of California
  • Knowledge of drug rehabilitation/training required
  • One year of primary care experience required
