Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and assess electrical components and systems, including circuit boards, processors, battery systems, and wireless communication modules (Bluetooth, LTE-M, GNSS) tailored for consumer electronics.
  • Evaluate and optimize product designs with a focus on power management, energy efficiency, and wireless connectivity, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate electrical systems and address complex design challenges.

  • Support manufacturing processes and quality assurance to ensure products meet established standards.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of practical experience in the design and development of IoT-enabled, battery-operated consumer electronics.
  • Expertise in both analog and digital design, with a strong background in mixed-signal interface and conversion circuitry.
  • Experience in power conversion for efficient and reliable battery-powered systems.
  • Familiarity with PWB layout, packaging, and testing of low-noise, mixed-mode circuitry.
  • Proven knowledge in power management, energy storage technologies, and wireless communications (Bluetooth, LTE-M, GNSS).
  • High proficiency in CAD and simulation software for circuit design and analysis.
  • Strong skills in design, debugging, and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum analyzers, and other testing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in designing for high-volume manufacturing is advantageous.
