We are a six-doctor, fast-paced general medicine practice located in the heart of Brookline, a mile from downtown Boston. Our hospital is equipped with eight exam rooms and state-of-the-art equipment, allowing us to provide comprehensive and personalized care to our patients.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our well-established hospital. As the face of VCA Brookline, you will set the tone for the practice by building and maintaining each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, place outbound calls for follow-ups, and reach out to prospective clients.
  • Present and explain fees, including processing payments, and recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Answer questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
  • Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence, and maintain a clean and organized hospital environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a veterinary or animal-related setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
