Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Magnet-designated nursing team in our state-of-the-art burns/plastics unit. The Ellison 14 Burns/Plastics Unit is a 21-bed adult patient care unit, 7-bed intensive care unit with planned expansion to 10 beds within the year, dedicated to the care of the critically burn injured adult, four of which are Bacteria Controlled Nursing Units (BCNU's). As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and compassionate team to provide excellent, quality care to patients and families in a safe and supportive environment.

About the Role
  • Provide direct patient care to critically burn injured adults in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in burn care.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement by identifying and reporting potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience on general med, med/surg/tele, or stepdown unit.
  • BSN preferred.
