Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our bakery team. As a Bakery Clerk, you'll be responsible for scaling, mixing, and baking various bakery goods, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the bakery department meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality bakery products for retail stores
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the bakery department
  • Provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers
  • Operate and clean equipment and work area
  • Package all fresh products following all packaging/handling procedures
  • Ensure quality of goods by following code dating procedures and legal regulations
  • Perform other related work as assigned or needed
Requirements
  • Ability to consistently provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to work varied hours, primarily between 3:00 am and 10:00 pm, in a 24/7 operation
  • Ability to lift objects of various dimensions up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move rapidly for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform basic math and compute weights and measures
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures and department policies
Working Conditions

The bakery environment can be hot and humid, with exposure to flour, sugar, and other ingredients. You'll be required to wear personal protective equipment, including hats, hairnets, and gloves, as needed.
