About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our team at Reibus. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our platform's backend infrastructure.

As a leader, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them grow and develop their skills. You will also work closely with other teams to determine business needs and collaborate on projects that drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Node.js, AWS, and other technologies.
  • Lead a team of software engineers to develop world-class applications and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams to determine business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Use customer feedback and data to build new features and improve existing ones.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in backend development, with a strong focus on leadership and mentoring.
  • Expertise in Node.js, Python, Java, or other popular programming languages.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda Functions and cloud-based environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Expertise in RDBMS systems, including Postgres or MySQL, and ORMS like Prisma, Spring, or Hibernate.
