Job SummaryA Nuclear Medicine Staff Technologist will be responsible for the following:
- Acquiring and processing all Nuclear Medicine exams, including general NM scans and Nuclear Cardiology studies.
- Ensuring the quality control of all Nuclear Medicine equipment.
- Handling diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals safely.
- Providing weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage for after-hours emergencies.
- Complying with NRC and NJDEP regulations regarding radiation safety.
- Completion of clinical training through an NM training program or college requirements.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved program in Nuclear Medicine.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License or Current CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medical Tech License.
- Current NJ-NUCMED - NJ Nuclear Med Tech License.
