Job Summary
As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards of professional nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Utilize surgical skills as a first-line direct patient care treatment team member
• Assume leadership role as surgical treatment team leader when assigned, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
• Apply knowledge of growth and development principles to assess each patient's age-specific treatment and care needs
Requirements
• Associate's Degree or Diploma from an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and certificate/advanced specialized or technical training preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience; prior Ambulatory Surgical experience strongly preferred
• Required licenses, registry, or certification: Graduate of an accredited NLN program; ACLS preferred; AORN Certification preferred
• Special knowledge, skills, and/or abilities: Leadership, strong surgical skills, high motivation, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to use special surgical equipment
