Job Overview

At VC3, we're looking for an experienced Systems Analyst II to join our team. This role involves providing advanced technical assistance and support to clients, working as an escalation point for our Service Desk and Escalation teams, and ensuring seamless delivery of our services.

About the Role

  • Provide expert technical support to clients, resolving complex issues and improving overall satisfaction.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated service requests, incidents, and change requests.
  • Maintain accountability to lower-tier technical team members, assisting with escalations beyond their scope of support.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate clients on technical standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve recurring issues, recommending improvements to hardware and software.
  • Mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
  • Engage with vendors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to drive issue resolution and process improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to ensure continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience or 2+ years of experience in a similar role at VC3.
  • Post-secondary training in Network Administration or Computer Systems Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of current IT concepts, practices, and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Microsoft/Office 365, Active Directory, GPO, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, virus and security management, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and virtualization technologies like Hyper-V and VMware.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
