Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the University System of New Hampshire. As a key member of our Psychological & Counseling Services department, you will provide expert psychotherapy services to students, including individual, group, and crisis interventions. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff, fostering a supportive and inclusive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and nationally recognized diagnostic systems.
• Conduct intakes, walk-in appointments, and emergency sessions, ensuring timely and effective support for students in need.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual students' needs, incorporating their unique circumstances and goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for students.
• Provide outreach programming services, conducting workshops and programs to promote student well-being and address campus concerns.
• Serve as a consultant to faculty, staff, and students, offering guidance and support on matters related to student well-being.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or equivalent, including a supervised internship and three years of experience in the mental health field.
• Eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in New Hampshire.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in providing culturally competent care for individuals with diverse identities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, faculty, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of post-licensure experience as a psychologist, with a focus on crisis and case management.
• Strong crisis intervention and case management skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
