Staff Psychologist

About the Role

Duke University is seeking a highly skilled Staff Psychologist to join our team at the Center for Academic and Personal Success (CAPS). As a Staff Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services, supervising interns, and engaging with the campus community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, and group counseling to Duke students
  • Participate in mental health triage services
  • Administer and interpret limited assessment measures as appropriate
  • Respond to clinical and campus crises as needed
  • Provide supervision and seminars to assigned trainees
Requirements
  • Completed doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Completed APA-accredited psychology internship
  • Currently licensed or immediately eligible for transfer of licensure within one year of hire in the state of North Carolina
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing primary supervision to psychology interns
  • Demonstrates experience working with international communities
  • Bilingual language skills are strongly preferred
