About the Role

We are seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team at AdventHealth. As an EKG Technician, you will be responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient information and identification prior to starting a procedure.
  • Perform thorough and accurate routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physician.
  • Present all STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of established EKG exam during orientation or within 6 months, and annually thereafter.
  • Previous patient care experience; on the job training.
  • Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association.
  • Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) OR Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 18 months of starting this role with any Advent Health facility.
