We are seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team at AdventHealth. As an EKG Technician, you will be responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Confirm patient information and identification prior to starting a procedure.
- Perform thorough and accurate routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physician.
- Present all STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of established EKG exam during orientation or within 6 months, and annually thereafter.
- Previous patient care experience; on the job training.
- Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association.
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) OR Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 18 months of starting this role with any Advent Health facility.
