Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will:

  • Facilitate the resolution of departmental issues and concerns raised by physicians, patients, and other healthcare personnel.
  • Conduct clinical laboratory tests across various designated areas and oversee the review of daily operational reports.
  • Monitor and document quality control measures, addressing any variances and providing insights into trends.
  • Ensure the functionality of major automated laboratory equipment through regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels for your assigned section or department.
  • Participate in laboratory inspections and communicate any operational concerns to management.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
  • Compliance with CLIA guidelines for Medical Technologists.
  • ASCP certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
