Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Class "A" commercial driver's license.
  • A minimum of 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or over 2,500 accident-free hours.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Capability to lift between 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended durations with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Capacity to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to five hours daily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor-trailer for extended periods, up to 11 hours per day, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer to transport products to and from designated locations in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Engage in physical tasks such as loading and unloading trailers, which may involve manual handling, palletized loading/unloading, or the use of a two-wheeler.
  • Deliver snacks and other products to major grocery chains, Frito-Lay manufacturing sites, rural storage facilities, and other traffic hubs.
  • Collect signatures for receipt, manage returns, and complete delivery logs and paperwork, as well as review invoices and manifests.
  • Utilize electronic logging devices, such as tablets or onboard computers, for tracking purposes.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to legal driving limits set by the FMCSA, which may include overnight trips and weekend/holiday work.
  • Participate in routes that operate 24/7, with varying DOT hours depending on location.

This role demands significant physical activity, including walking and lifting overhead, but our drivers believe the benefits outweigh the challenges.
