We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at Telcom Construction Inc. As a key member of our utility construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.

• Provide leadership and direction to crew members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Implement and perform steps to complete jobs efficiently and effectively
• Operate construction equipment such as dump trucks and skid loaders
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Monitor and adhere to all safety processes and procedures
• Conduct weekly tool box talks to promote safety and best practices
• Maintain and submit required reporting
• Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers

• Previous experience in a similar position with a focus on crew leadership
• Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify underground utilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities
• Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must be very safety conscientious
• Must be able to effectively communicate with crew, customers, and vendors
• Basic computer skills required, experience with Google apps a plus
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required
• Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement is a plus

• Climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 LBS as needed with or without assistance
• Duties outlined in this position will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low
