About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Residential Swing Driver to join our team at Walters Recycling and Refuse, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting residential waste and transporting it to our dumping facility/site. This role requires physical exertion, including repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling of receptacles weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a side-loader, Curotto, or rear-load truck to collect residential waste and transport it to the dumping facility/site.
  • Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations.
  • Work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, and navigate through congested communities and confined areas.
  • Read and understand maps, complete daily driver logs, and maintain accurate records of your activities.
Requirements
  • Class A or B CDL License with no air brake restriction.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT health evaluation.
  • Mapping skills and ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
