Job Title: Neonatal Ground and Air Ambulance Paramedic

About Cook Children's Medical Center: Our medical center is committed to providing advanced medical care to children. As part of our transport team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients.

Compensation Package: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of neonatal and pediatric care, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. They should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure. Additionally, they should be willing to work varying shifts and adapt to changing situations.

Qualifications: A minimum of three years ALS experience or three years clinical experience as an EMT-P/LP, with a plan to assess and document competency and proficiency in the critical care medical transport environment. Current Texas Certification or Licensure as a Paramedic, CPR certification, valid Texas Driver's License, and auto liability insurance. Furthermore, they should hold ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications within 90 days of employment and maintain them. TNCC certification within 6 months and every 4 years thereafter, and FP-C, CCEMTP, C-NPT, or TP-C certification within 2 years. Completion of the Emergency Vehicle Operators Course during orientation and every 3 years thereafter.
