This is a senior-level position within the Exchange Operations team at LMAX Group, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the Exchange. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with Exchange members, liquidity providers, prime brokers, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Exchange Member Management: Manage and maintain relationships with Exchange members, including global top-tier banks, high-frequency trading firms, hedge funds, and institutional clients.
- Operational and Technical Support: Provide operational and technical support to Exchange members, third parties, and clients, including FIX and API onboarding and integration, network, account, and trade flow setups.
- Credit Limit Administration: Monitor member credit limits and liaise with banks and prime brokers for credit limit administration.
- Trade Reconciliation and Resolution: Investigate and resolve pricing and trade queries/breaks, and perform trade reconciliations throughout the day.
- Defect Management: Manage, prioritize, and escalate defects raised by members/third parties with the development team to meet member needs, while managing member expectations and deadlines.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain operational and technical documentation, including API documentation, process documents, and instrument and market information documents.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Sales and Liquidity teams to understand and support client requirements, and build relationships with Exchange members' technical support and onboarding teams.
- Internal Collaboration: Liaise closely with various internal teams, including Sales, IT/Development, Compliance, Liquidity, and Finance.
- 2+ years of experience working in operations or a technical support role.
- Experience with FIX protocol and FIX onboarding, Java and.NET APIs.
- Experience working with market makers/liquidity providers, prime brokers, and market data vendors.
- Ability to understand complex financial products.
- Ability to understand Exchange technology and technical concepts.
- Ability to work independently, as a self-starter, innovator, and team player.
- Willingness to work weekends when required.
- University degree or equivalent.
