Job Title: Clinical Optometrist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Optometrist Specialist to join our team at VCU Health - MCV Physicians.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for an established clinical practice with direct patient care in two outpatient settings, including our main campus and suburban satellite location.
  • As a member of our faculty, the optometrist will work alongside residents and certified ophthalmic medical technicians to provide high-quality patient care and ancillary testing.

Requirements:

  • Completed an Optometry Residency with advanced training in Contact Lens Fitting and Ocular Disease
  • Must possess or be eligible for a full, unrestricted license to practice Optometry in the State of Virginia
  • Demonstrate expertise working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment

Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
