Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician at Verbal Behavior Associates. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children with special needs, helping them acquire essential skills and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support client skill acquisition and behavior development
  • Work one-on-one with clients to provide individualized support and guidance
  • Track and record client progress, providing regular updates to BCBAs and other team members
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities a plus
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 weekdays, 3 hours per shift, between 3:00-7:00pm
  • Ability to attend training sessions, held Monday-Friday, 3:00-7:30pm and Saturday, 9:00am-4:00pm or Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required; TB test and Live Scan background check will be conducted post-hire
