Key Responsibilities:

  • Design comprehensive plans that include timelines, tasks, and schedules for permits from initial request to final approval.
  • Engage with different agencies to ascertain the necessary information for permit application submissions.
  • Identify potential challenges and facilitate solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Compile permit submission packages in line with jurisdictional standards.
  • Establish and maintain a tracking system for general permit issuance.
  • Submit permit packages through online platforms, fax, or in-person at designated locations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and state or municipal agencies.
  • Monitor jurisdiction-specific requirements and relay that information to the team.
  • Organize project folders and effectively communicate the status of each permit.
  • Collaborate with jurisdictions and internal/external team members to resolve any review issues.
  • Assist the team with AutoCAD projects as needed.
  • Complete any required documentation, reporting, etc., for assigned projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in permit coordination is required.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems is essential.
  • Experience with MS Office applications, including Excel and Word, is required.
  • Familiarity with Adobe products is necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
