Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform CT procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or teaching duties
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • ARRT - Radiography certification
  • CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist certification
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire
Preferred Experience

Basic clinical and practical CT Tech work as typically acquired in a similar environment.

Skills and Knowledge
  • General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine CT examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with variable shifts, including evenings and weekends. The pay range is $57.04 to $69.53 per hour, and the position is non-exempt.
