Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at SolutionHealth. In this role, you will be responsible for providing educational support and clinical expertise to respiratory clients. You will also ensure compliance with regulatory issues related to respiratory services and assist with new respiratory services to meet changing patient populations' needs.

About the Job:

  • You will prepare and maintain individual care plans, orders, and other components of the client record, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and department medical record policies.
  • You will provide instruction to patients/caregivers regarding care, treatment plans, respiratory equipment, and CPR as required.
  • You will teach patients how to maintain their clinical care and when to report certain signs and symptoms.
  • You will set up related D.M.E.P.O.S. and give detailed instructions to the client and/or caregiver(s) in the proper and safe use of the equipment in compliance with local, state, federal regulations as well as Joint Commission standards.
  • You will assist in developing respiratory specific programs and standards of care.
  • You will integrate problem-solving methodology and quality improvement in approaching problem areas related to patient care and organizational processes.
  • You will evaluate processes related to respiratory services and ensure conformance to organization policy and procedures and governmental regulations.
  • You will investigate and respond to customer complaints promptly. Demonstrates commitment to the principles of outstanding customer service.
