Key Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hospital Medicine physician to become part of our established department. This role involves delivering comprehensive care from admission through discharge for all patients referred to our service. The Hospitalists are responsible for conducting history and physical examinations for most admissions to Behavioral Health, with follow-up as needed. Expect a dynamic practice within a physician-led, financially stable organization dedicated to high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
- Work schedule consists of 23 weeks annually, with seven 12-hour shifts followed by seven days off.
- Coverage includes 7 hospitalists from 7 AM to 7 PM; 1 non-rounding Medical Officer of the Day from 7 AM to 7 PM; and 2 staggered night shifts from 5 PM to 5 AM and 7 PM to 7 AM. Consideration for a nocturnist-only position is available, which would entail a 10% reduction in the annual shift requirement.
- Primary responsibilities are associated with a hospital that serves as a Level II trauma center in Eau Claire, WI.
- Full support from all subspecialties is guaranteed.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess an M.D., D.O., or equivalent foreign degree. Eligibility for a Wisconsin medical license and Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or completion of an ACGME accredited program leading to certification is required.
