Job Summary:

The Parking Garage Cashier position at InterPark Holdings Inc. is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a superior parking experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
  • Process parking fees accurately and efficiently, using a variety of revenue control systems.
  • Complete daily cashier's reports and balance all transactions at the beginning and closing of shift.
  • Ensure inventory of operational supplies are at hand and inform manager if restock is needed.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with employees and customers.
  • Operate and monitor facility security intercoms and surveillance monitors.
  • Remain vigilant for anything unusual or potentially threatening and inform management immediately.
  • Monitor work area and property for safety and security.
  • Report any accidents, hazards or maintenance requirements, and the presence of any suspicious individuals or activities immediately to a manager.
  • Recognize potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner.
  • Participate in all safety and security trainings within the market.
  • When directed, may be required to perform light garage maintenance duties.
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times.
  • Process parking fees and related transactions accurately.
  • Ensure that sufficient cash change is on hand at the start of the shift.
  • Ensure all paperwork is complete, and all revenue tickets and coupons are collected and accounted for.
  • Ensure hiker's tickets are completed properly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Depending on site requirements, a valid state driver's license may be required.
  • Possess math skills sufficient to calculate time and money.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must submit application for employment through our website to be considered for this position.
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the US.
  • Must be able to pass math and drug test as part of the selection process.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and MVR/Driving Record check as part of the selection process.
  • Must be willing to work the following schedule.
  • Must be willing to work in a garage/booth/office.
  • Must be able to navigate through parking lot(s) or garages and must be able to move to assist customers in a timely manner.
