About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who share a passion for education and making a difference. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Special Education, experience working with students with low-incidence disabilities, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver direct and indirect instruction to students with intensive needs in the classroom and community settings.
  • Collaborate with special educators, paraeducators, related service providers, and adaptive general education teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Facilitate collaborative teams, program development, training, data analysis, and mentoring of other team members.
  • Provide training on clinical responses to behavior, universal design for learning, curriculum overlap, and multi-level instruction.
  • Teach functional skills, literacy, math, and social communication to students with varying abilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working within Special Education, preferably with students with low-incidence disabilities.
  • Current teaching certification or ability to obtain certification within 1 year.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, paid time off, family leave, and training and development opportunities.
