Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Server Representative to join our team at Ted's Bulletin. As a Server Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing tables, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage tables efficiently, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling payments.
- Upsell and promote menu items, specials, and promotions to increase sales and revenue.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and high-quality presentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience in a high-volume, upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment.
- Previous server experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day, and lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Accurate mathematical calculations and handling of cash and credit transactions.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Responsible alcohol service certification (as required by state or local law).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
