Job Summary

Mozaic Senior Life is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Recreation Assistant to join our team. As a Therapeutic Recreation Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with Therapeutic Recreation activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare activity rooms and set up equipment for scheduled activities.
  • Transport residents and assist with individual or group projects.
  • Encourage participation and motivate residents in programs.
  • Maintain order in activity areas and ensure adequate inventory of supplies.
  • Record resident activity attendance and distribute nourishment during recreation activities.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in inservices.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • No experience required.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to utilize various software packages.
