Escrow Closing Specialist:


Facilitates comprehensive clerical management of all documentation associated with the initiation or conclusion of escrows, alleviating branches from substantial paperwork burdens.

Communicates essential information and directives to escrow branches,

Key Responsibilities:
Meticulously maintain a current daily task list (workflow dashboard) ensuring no overdue assignments

Provide back-office operational support for branches in preparation for closings, including reviewing commitments/preliminary documents and seller/buyer information forms to request tax certificates, HOA certificates/statements, surveys, payoff statements, lien releases, and any other workflow dashboard items as required

Assess and analyze real estate contracts along with all supporting documentation.

Accountable for requesting and/or coordinating follow-ups on payoffs, homeowner's association demands, and verifying tax information, along with any other title liens and/or documents necessary prior to closing.

Assist branch operations in closing preparations.

Utilize sound judgment to identify inconsistencies, evaluate risks, and make informed decisions.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Experience in the closing/title/real estate sector.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities

Professional verbal and written communication skills complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.

High attention to detail and a strong organizational capacity.

Demonstrate follow-through in a dynamic, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.

Availability to work during standard business hours with the flexibility to extend hours as necessary.

Ability to work autonomously and proactively to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

Proficient computer skills, as the role operates in a predominantly paperless environment requiring over 95% computer usage.
