Plant Services Engineer

The Plant Services Engineer is a critical role within Advanced Drainage Systems, responsible for implementing and managing various manufacturing platforms across domestic and international locations. This position requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead the implementation of manufacturing platforms, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Perform and understand AutoCAD/Solidworks drawings and functions, maintaining mechanical and electrical drawing files.
- Lean Process Improvement: Lead lean Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts to improve process and equipment reliability.
- Plant Layout Development: Develop plant layouts with Project Engineering support.
- Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Provide leadership support for equipment installations, routine equipment and process troubleshooting, and training.
- Travel: Travel extensively (over 75%) to support multiple plants and manufacturing platforms.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) or 2-year Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plastics with experience.
- Experience: At least five years in a manufacturing environment, with experience in plastic extrusion or injection mold.
- Language: Fluent in English and Spanish (as needed).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work safely in and around plant equipment, and perform physical labor for extended periods in temperature extremes.
