Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Architect with a specialization in Oracle Coherence to evaluate and enhance our current caching framework. This role involves a comprehensive analysis from both producer and consumer perspectives, focusing on cache patterns and identifying avenues for improvement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the existing Oracle Coherence cache configuration to identify enhancements.
  • Develop a strategic, scalable, and high-performance caching solution to support customer operations.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of Coherence caching, messaging, and technologies such as Grid Gain and Redis.
  • Implement best practices in messaging systems, including Active MQ, RabbitMQ, and IBMMQ.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Design principles using Java or similar programming languages.
  • Leverage hands-on experience with J2EE frameworks like Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and JPA.
  • Design and implement SOAP Web services and Microservices/REST endpoints, ensuring a solid understanding of Service Discovery and Load Balancing.
  • Utilize DevOps methodologies and open-source cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS and OpenShift.
  • Implement authentication protocols such as OAuth and OAuth 2.
  • Manage build processes using tools like Maven and Gradle.
  • Work with DevOps tools, including Jenkins Pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, including Junit and Mockito.
  • Proficiency in code scanning tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, and Prisma Scan.
  • Experience in API development and integration with third-party services.
