Key Responsibilities:
This role involves performing economic analysis and assessments of return rates, depreciation, and investments. The Senior Financial Consultant will:

  • Conduct in-depth economic research and evaluations of financial performance.
  • Analyze profit-and-loss statements and prepare insightful reports and recommendations for management.
  • Generate forecasts and assess trends in sales, finance, and other business areas.
  • Research economic developments to support the organization's financial strategy.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform quantitative analyses related to budgets, expenses, and financial projects for both public and private entities.
  • Collect and analyze financial data for assigned accounts or business units to monitor progress against financial objectives.
  • Report on current or anticipated financial performance and develop financial models to aid decision-making.
  • Evaluate cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Impact of the Role:
This position requires a consistent exercise of discretion and judgment, along with in-depth knowledge in the financial discipline. The consultant will:

  • Address complex financial challenges independently with minimal guidance.
  • Lead projects or specific components within broader initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and statistical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and database querying.
  • Capable of gathering data from diverse sources and synthesizing findings for various audiences.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with startups, including project planning and establishing business processes, is highly desirable. This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop the systems and culture necessary for a high-performing manufacturing operation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
