Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Dallas College. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling financial records, reports, and contractual agreements of considerable complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
  • Research and resolve accounting application issues.
  • Keep informed of changes in laws and regulations to ensure compliance and utilize best practices in the performance of assignments.
  • Continuously assess internal systems and recommend changes that would allow greater efficiency in monthly and year-end processing.
  • Compose correspondence of a technical nature related to assignments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher plus five (5) years of accounting experience.
  • Official transcripts required.
  • Current and valid Texas driver's license required for offsite travel.
  • Grant and/or Audit experience preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
