Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracting Project Developer to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our Energy Services group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing turnkey design-build solutions and energy savings contracting projects.

As a Contracting Project Developer, you will work closely with internal teams and customers to identify and develop project opportunities, including scope of work development, cost estimating, and proposal support. You will also be responsible for managing the design process, including conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering documents, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement turnkey design-build solutions and energy savings contracting projects
  • Work with internal teams and customers to identify and develop project opportunities
  • Manage the design process, including conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering documents
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with energy engineers to quantify energy savings and develop cost estimates
  • Support proposal development and submission
Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of related experience in MEP design of HVAC systems or developing design/build projects
  • Working knowledge of mechanical HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems and building construction/remodel
  • Working knowledge of cost and savings studies incorporating energy conversation measures (ECM)
  • Working knowledge of energy rebate programs, utility tariffs, and utility bill analysis
