We are looking for a driven and analytical Market Insights Analyst and Research Specialist to join our vibrant Marketing Team. In this position, you will be tasked with performing in-depth market analysis, evaluating industry trends, and producing comprehensive reports that will aid in strategic decision-making. Your findings will be instrumental in guiding the future trajectory of our organization and delivering valuable insights to our clients.
As the Market Insights Analyst and Research Specialist, you will spearhead our new research initiative at SambaSafety. The ideal candidate will possess a knack for simplifying complex concepts.
Key Duties Include:
- Developing a profound understanding of the sectors we operate in and maintaining awareness of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Managing and executing our research report strategy, which encompasses gathering stakeholder input, sourcing and compiling third-party and internal data, content planning, analyzing outcomes, drafting annual reports, and guiding design direction.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, including marketing, product, and data teams, to gather requirements and create insightful reports.
- Leading thought leadership initiatives through compelling analysis and written reports that promote our findings.
- Conducting evidence-based research using trusted sources.
- Collecting and analyzing data from diverse sources, including SambaSafety's proprietary data, market reports, industry publications, and competitor insights.
- Maintaining source documentation and responding promptly to inquiries regarding published reports.
- Performing competitive analysis and presenting findings to internal teams to influence messaging and product strategy.
- Promoting research findings within the organization and supporting documentation of research methodologies.
- Working within deadlines to maximize market impact.
- Conducting and analyzing primary research as per the content plan.
- Producing content in various formats, including reports, blog posts, data summaries, infographics, and videos.
- Offering strategic recommendations based on research outcomes.
- Presenting research findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in market research, business analysis, or a related field, ideally within a technology-focused organization.
- Experience in Product Marketing is advantageous.
- A graduate degree in analytics, statistics, economics, or a related data-driven discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with organizational frameworks necessary for leveraging data-driven insights effectively.
- Proficient in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill large volumes of data into actionable insights.
- A high degree of curiosity, creativity, and personal accountability.
- Ability to convey complex information in an easily digestible format, with a keen attention to detail in data interpretation.
- Capability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Experience in drafting industry reports and presenting findings to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- A deep understanding of Insurtech and/or fleet management dynamics is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with samples of previous reports requested during the interview process.
- Strong business acumen, detail-oriented yet able to maintain a broader perspective.
- Able to work independently with a high degree of variability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects.
